光が、とどまる場所
【Where Light Rests】
光は、照らすためだけにあるのではない。
この作品では、光は空間を満たす前に、
一度、ここにとどまる。
揺らぎ、屈折し、分解された光は、
壁や床に反射しながら、
見る人の時間を少し遅らせる。
ランプもシャンデリアも、
光を飾るためのものではなく、
光が休息するための器である。

Light does not exist solely to illuminate.
In this work,
before light fills the space,
it pauses here.
Wavering, refracted, and fragmented,
the light reflects across walls and floors,
gently slowing the viewer’s sense of time.
Both the lamp and the chandelier
are not meant to adorn light,
but to serve as vessels
in which light comes to rest.
